Description

Endonax is a medicine which overcomes the symptoms of certain types of cancer such as Lymphoma, Leukemia, Multiple myeloma, Mycosis fungoides, ovarian cancer, Neuroblastoma and breast cancer. This medicine also used to treat certain kidney problems (Nephrotic syndrome) in children. Cyclophosphamide is a main active medicament found in the Endonax. Cyclophosphamide belongs to the category of Anti-neoplastic drugs. It stops or slows the growth and spread of cancer cells.

Indications of Endonax

Endonax is indicated for the treatment of-

  1. Malignant tumours
  2. Mycosis fungoides
  3. Retinoblastoma
  4. Neuroblastoma
  5. Adeno-carcinoma of the ovary
  6. Carcinoma of the breast
  7. Nephrotic syndrome in children

Doses of Endonax

  • Treatment of Malignant disease- The initial recommended dose of Endonax is 1 to 8 mg per kg per day.
  • Management of Nephrotic syndrome- The initial advised dose of Endonax is 2.5 to 3.5 mg per kg per day orally up to 60 or 90 days. It should be taken with a glass of water.

Who should not take Endonax?

Under some medical conditions, Endonax medicine should not be used;

  • It should not be given to those patients who are hypersensitive to Cyclophosphamide and other related medicament of Endonax.
  • If you have severe bone marrow function
  • Pregnant or breast feeding mothers
  • If you are already consuming a tumor Necrosis factor (TNF) blocking drugs.

Drug interactions of Endonax

Side effects of Endonax

Common side effects

Severe side effects 

Loss of appetite, absence of menstrual cycle, skin color change, diarrhea, vomiting and weakness.

Severe allergic reactions, bloody urine, bloody stool, chest pain, swelling of mouth, jaundice(swelling of eyes and skin), unusual tiredness, abdomen pain and tachycardia and bradycardia(irregular heart beat).

Use with some cautions

Some safety measures should be followed before taking Endonax;

  • If you are suffering from Cardio toxicity such as Myocarditis, Pericardial effusion, Congestive heart failure, use Endonax with some cautions.
  • If you are taking other Radiotherapy, avoid taking of Endonax.
  • Avoid Endonax, if you are allergic to certain medicines, foods and other substances.

Storage conditions of Endonax

The Endonax should be kept under below mentioned conditions;

  • Remain this medication at room temperature 300 C.
  • Place this drug in the dry and sterile area.
  • Keep this drug in an airtight container.
  • Protect it from high temperature, light and moisture.

In case of missed dose of Endonax

If the patient missed a dose of Endonax takes it as soon as you memorize. If it gets the time for the next dose then skip it and go your usual dose plan.

 In case of overdose of Endonax

In case of overdosing of Endonax directly consult with your doctor and get some medical treatment.

Symptoms of overdosing of Endonax are severe headache, swelling of the lips, bloody urine, abdomen pain and redness of the skin.
